General description of the service
Nadler Hartmetalle GmbH develops, manufactures and machines custom carbide parts (preforms) and complete carbide tools to drawing – including advice on geometry and the appropriate choice of material. Production starts from a quantity of 1 with short delivery times. The service is provided by Nadler Hartmetalle GmbH at its site at Robert-Bosch-Straße 4, 85235 Odelzhausen, Germany; information and contact are available via the website, by email and by phone.
Explanation of how the service is provided
Inquiries are handled individually on the basis of customer specifications. The usual process is: send a drawing → coordination meeting → production release. Production takes place entirely in-house: powder preparation, axial or isostatic pressing into green compacts, machining of the green compact (including turning, milling and grinding with diamond tools), sintering using the sinter-HIP process, subsequent finishing in our in-house grinding department (cylindrical, surface, centerless and CNC grinding, EDM, lapping, honing, polishing) and quality control using measuring machines and laboratory values. Depending on the order, blanks or ready-to-use tools are shipped to the customer as per drawing. Contact and information are provided via the website (German/English) and by phone or email; there is no online shop and there are no user accounts. The service is provided on a project basis.
